The Dentist

I had to go to the dentist a few days ago. That is never something to look forward to. Luckily my dentist is my older brother. I had to have some cavities filled and these pictures were taken in the afternoon post numbing...half of my face is still paralyzed. So please excuse the awkward half smiles in some of the pics. On another note, I love wearing my hair up and out of my face. I bought some of the new Goody Spin Pins a few months ago. These two little twisty things hold up my entire hair! Such a great invention and super easy to use. (P.S.- I will have you notice that Thomas is again in my pics).

Thomas The Cat

My parents have a cat named Thomas, after the cat in Disney's Aristocats. For some reason he is wants to be in every picture I have. No matter what time of day it is or where I am taking the photo he just appears out of no where. I think he must want some blog time. So Thomas this is for you... your fifteen start now. On another note, I love watermelon in the summer. And I love watermelon colored skirts in the summer too. This skirt is a great comfy piece. Oh and I had to throw in a pic of my parent's awesome backyard. I just want to lay out all the time!

Owl Eyed

Can I just say that my owl necklace is the BOMB! I just found it hidden away in a stash of older jewelry that I have had boxed up while I was away (and when I say away I mean away away, like say on an island in the Caribbean that no one has even heard of). I had forgotten just how awesome the owl guy is...well at least to me. You know what I say to that? To each his own. And that just happens to be what I love about fashion. You are entitled to your own style. Also you should know that I like hats. And people should wear them more often. I mean back in the old days people used to rock hats like it was nobody's business. What happened to the good old hat days? Well I am bringing them back...

Koi Pond

My dog, a German short-haired pointer, has recently become obsessed with watching the fish in my parent's Koi pond. Although they have been there for years until now he just either didn't see them or didn't care. Its hilarious to see him stare into the water at the fish. About the outfit... well it's funny how a baby doll cut can make you look either pregnant or 12 years old. Since I am neither of those things I'm not sure I should be wearing one. But I liked the daisy dukes and the combo seemed very summery to me. I have had those sandals forever and I have always loved the gold sparkles...so glad I hang on to almost everything so I could wear them now years later!

New Photographer

I am home for a few months this summer. Happily reunited with most of my wardrobe. Only bad thing is that I need a photographer to help me & my little blog. Well long story short my younger brother (he's 15) got wrangled (by me) into being my photographer for a while. He was good enough to go along with it and the pics turned out great. Thanks Tanner!!
